DomainKeys Identified Mail in Shared Hosting
If you host a domain in a shared hosting account from our company, all the necessary records for using the DomainKeys Identified Mail feature will be created by default. This will happen the moment you add the domain in the Hosted Domains section of the Hepsia hosting Control Panel, provided that the domain also uses our NS resource records. A private encryption key will be created on our mail servers, while a public key will be added to the DNS system automatically by using the TXT record. In this way, you won’t need to do anything manually and you’ll be able to make use of all the benefits of this authentication system – your emails will reach any audience without being disallowed and no one will be able to send out messages forging your e-mail addresses. The latter is rather important in case the essence of your worldwide web presence involves sending periodic newsletters or offers via email to prospective and current clients.
DomainKeys Identified Mail in Semi-dedicated Servers
Our semi-dedicated servers come with DomainKeys Identified Mail activated by default, so in case you choose a semi-dedicated server plan and you add a domain name using our name servers through your Hepsia Control Panel, the records needed for the email authentication system will be created automatically – a private encryption key on our email servers for the electronic signature and a TXT resource record carrying the public key for the global Domain Name System. As the DKIM protection is set up for a particular domain, all e-mail addresses created using it will have a signature, so you won’t have to worry that the emails that you send may not be delivered to their destination address or that somebody may fake any of your email addresses and try to spam/scam people. This may be extremely essential when you use e-communication in your business, since your colleagues and/or clients will be able to distinguish genuine messages from forged ones.
